The oh, hello network have now announced that they will no longer be offering their services such as scribble, gbook, and i85 for free, effective May 1st 2002. The new cost will be $1.50 per month for use of all the oh, hello services under any one login name (which also includes flowerbuilder), and current members have the option of being able to make a single $6.00 payment (before April 1st) which covers membership for life.

Here's an abstract from the message users get at login: "2001 saw our revenues plummet with the dot-com crash and 2002 has been no better. for example, our total ad revenues for february of 2002 were $11.89 - we also signed three paid members out of roughly 15,000 new members. it's for these reasons and others that effective may 1st, our free services will no longer be offered."
