Interview with Dick Green, CEO, Briefing.com: "[Q]Why did you choose to go subscription based when you did? [A]My previous company (MMS International) sold subscription services to bond traders over Bloomberg and Reuters terminals. It worked, and my focus all along was to recreate that success. Briefing.com took an existing business model, and simply used the Internet for distribution. We did not look at the Internet and takes stabs at the latest fad as to what works. I knew subscriptions, started with it, it worked from day one, and Briefing.com will continue with that model."
