MyComputer.com switches focus, changes name: last month this provider of web statistic tracking tools changed its name to Omniture and refocused on the enterprise business, while its tools for small businesses (web site stats and automated search engine submission) had already been sold to VeriSign.
This move replicates decisions taken by many other companies to look for revenue streams from larger accounts, where their previously mostly ad-based consumer services failed to deliver, and cheap services for small businesses didn't find enough traction in the marketplace.
