AmExMail will be discontinuing service as of April 30, 2002. To keep your current email account and messages with USA.NET, you must purchase service by April 30, 2002. USA.NET is offering current AmExMail users an introductory rate of $29.99 for a year of service. Log into your account for additional purchase information.

USA.NET had stopped their free service in June last year. Altavista and About.com recently pulled out from free e-mail too. Expect the droves of wanna-be affinity/community "branded" portals (sic) to discontinue their e-mail services in the months to come.
