Email forwarder Bigfoot doubles its price, from $19.95 a year (as introduced in August 2001) to $9.95 a quarter. I'm one of their customers but I didn't hear about it until a reader wrote me about this. Of course, they explain how cheap it still is ("less than 12 cents a day"). I might be gullible, but there's only so much credibility I'll give to prices expressed per nanosecond to make them look low. Speaking of lousy pricing pitches, I'll have to strangle the next marketer who explains how the product (s)he's pitching is less expensive than a Starbucks coffee.
